Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars and Katy Perry are among artists whose music could be banned in China because of its "vulgar content".
The artists are said to be on a blacklist of 100 tracks named by China's Ministry of Culture, and they are deciding whether to ban the tracks from all of the country's music websites.
Beyonce's 'Run The World (Girls)' is on the list because of it's line 'We run this mutha...', while Mars's tracks 'Grenade' and 'Just The Way You Are' are also listed.
Lady Gaga has a few tracks on the list, including 'Hair', 'Bloody Mary', 'Judas', 'The Edge of Glory' and 'Americano', which have all been dubbed unsuitable.
All of the tracks have to be investigated in the mandatory government screening and if not, they will automatically be banned or removed from China's legal streaming and download services.
FYI - Backstreet Boys track 'I Want It That Way' was also listed.
