T.I., LL Cool J and Young Jeezy are set to be honoured at a hip-hop ball for raising awareness of this year's presidential election.
The stars will be recognised at next month's Hip-Hop Inaugural Ball in Washington, DC for inspiring young people ahead of November's race for the White House.
The black-tie event, set up by Russell Simmons and Dr. Benjamin Chavis along with the Hip-Hop Summit Action Network (HSAN), will celebrate Democrat Barack Obama's formal entrance into the Presidency and recognise the contributions of youth voters.
Simmons says, "We are celebrating the Inauguration of Barack Obama as President of the United States. Hip-Hop is all about transformation and it is a thrill to help make and witness history."
