Incarcerated rapper DMX has travelled cross-country after police officials moved him from his cell in Miami, Florida to an Arizona jail.

The star - real name Earl Simmons - has been serving time at Miami-Dade County Jail after federal agents captured him earlier this month when an Arizona judge issued a bench warrant for his arrest.

DMX missed a court appearance in Arizona earlier this month, where he was due to face charges of drug possession, identity theft and animal cruelty.

His lawyer, Bradford Cohen, confirmed his client is on the move to Maricopa County Jail in Arizona on Friday.
