Taio Cruz has confirmed that he has been working with Cheryl Cole on her third studio album. 

Cheryl has taken a step back from the limelight recently, since she was sacked from her judging position on X Factor USA. Despite rumours that she was giving up on her showbiz career, it seems Cheryl is focusing on her music career and has headed straight for the studio.

Taio and Chezza have worked together before on a track called 'Stand Up,' which featured on her last album 3 Words. The two have been working together to produce new material for her next LP. 

"Yeah, I can't say too much about the songs, but it was great to see her again," Taio told Capital FM.

"She's great and feels exactly the same as usual and was excited about recording the new album," he added.

It was previously reported that Cheryl has also enlisted Usher, Rihanna and Christina Aguilera to work on the album.
