DJ Khaled has defended his use of the N-word, saying that it should not be a problem for him to use, despite him having Palestinian heritage.
The use of the N-word in Hip-Hop has been an on-going battle for decades and several rappers have come under fire for using it. Now, DJ Khaled has been forced to defend himself for using the offensive word. "I'm a n**ga," he told Invasion Radio.
"If somebody ever took that in an arrogant - If someone thinks it in another way, they dumb. I grew up like that. It's slang. It's actually a postive word the way that I use it, the way that Ace [Hood] is using it. If you think like that, that goes back to the internet. The hate."
Khaled is not the only artist who has had to defend their use of the word recently. 'Gucci Gucci' rapper Kreayshawn told TaleTela in an interview that she does not use the N-word, depsite claims that she has.
Is it ok for Khaled to use the N-word?
