Paula Patton certainly brightened up the red carpet yesterday at the 69th Annual Golden Globe awards, which was held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Hollywood.

The Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol actress wore a floor-length bright yellow gown, making a difference to the white and cream theme that most of the other attendees such as Charlize Theron, Jessica Alba and Jessica Biel, opted for.

Paula did not receive any nominations but still looked happy - even amid reports that she and R&B singer husband Robin Thicke owe more than $500,000 to the IRS.
