Mariah Carey looked every inch the doting wife last weekend at the BET Honors, when she supported husband Nick Cannon at his first public appearance since leaving the hospital last week.

The TV presenter and radio host reportedly suffered a "mild kidney failure" during a Christmas holiday in Aspen and underwent an operation. It seems resting at home did him the world of good because he looked fit and healthy at the award ceremony, wearing a beaming smile on the red carpet.

Dutiful wife Mariah was by his side at all times and passionately kissed him on the cheek for the cameras.

When Mariah accepted her award, Nick brought their baby son Morrocan on stage to support his mommy.
