Nicole Scherzinger put on a brave face yesterday in Los Angeles after being sacked from X Factor USA.

The 33-year-old looked chic in a loose-flowing blue-patterned shirt, jeans, beige cowoboy boots and a matching scarf. Covering her eyes with large sunglasses, Nicole seemed to be in good spirits just days after the news emerged that she will no longer be a part of the judging panel on the talent contest.

Simon Cowell announced that he had fired Nicole, Paula Abdul and host Steve Jones in a bid to revamp the show to increase viewing figures.

Several other celebrities have already been tipped to take the spaces on the panel, including Beyonce, Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj.
