Kelly Rowland, Ne-Yo, Eve and Melanie Amaro were just some of the names to attend the annual Essence Black Women In Music event last night.

As always, Kelly looked beautiful in a floor-length orange gown which she teamed with her trademark huge frizzy afro. She was joined by her former Destiny's Child bandmates Michelle Williams and Letoya Luckett who both looked equally as gorgeous.

Ne-Yo held it down for the men looking suarve and sexy in a blue blazer and cardigan which he accessorised with his beloved cap and jeans and trainers. He was also sporting an unsightly bump under his left eye which he attempted to shield with glasses.

The event celebrated some of the most successful women in music who made an outstanding contribution to the industry last year.
