Jennifer Hudson put on a brave face last night at the 2012 amFAR gala in New York City last night, amid reports that she is being questioned in relation to the murders of her family members.

The singer and actress wore a gorgeous brown floor-length gown for the event which was also attended by Janelle Monae. 

Jennifer is reportedly being questioned by the accused William Balfour's defence attorney about text messages exchanged between her and her mother shortly before the murders took place.

It was previously reported that Jennifer may have to take the stand to testify against Balfour, although this has not been confirmed.
