Beyonce and Jay-Z were all over each other last night as they enjoyed a romantic date on a night off from looking after newborn daughter Blue Ivy.

The couple could not have looked happier as they hugged and whispered in each other's ears while watching Jay's New Jersey Nets basketball team. Jay seemed very protective of his 30-year-old wife and kept his arm around her throughout most of the game and even kissed her cheek at one point.

After the game, the couple made their way to the Redfarm restaurant where they enjoyed a meal, and burst into fits of laughter as they left, when fans told the paparazzi to stop asking them "stupid" questions.

It was the first time Bey and Jay had been seen together publicly since their first child Blue was born on January 7. They released the first photos of their new bundle of joy two weeks ago on a website they created especially for Blue.
