It's finally time to say goodbye to Oprah Winfrey as the final episode of her award-winnning chat show comes to an end after 25 years.

And she has covered a range of topics in her shows, from celebrities promoting their latest films to frank discussions about rape and murder from her viewers.

And there have been many memorable moments from the queen of daytime T.V. From her displaying her astonishing weight loss live on air to Tom Cruise famously jumping on her sofa to declare his love for Katie Holmes.

Winfrey, who announced she was quitting the show in November last year, said to her fans last night: "Thank you for being as much of a sweet inspiration for me as I tried to be for you. I won't say goodbye. I'll just say until we meet again."
