Young Jeezy, Erykah Badu, Lupe Fiasco and Wiz Khalifa were just some of the acts that took to the stage at the BET Hip-Hop awards in Atlanta, Georgia over the weekend.

Mike Epps once again took hosting duties with the show running smoothly and drama free.

LL Cool J received an 'I Am Hip-Hop Icon Award' from rapper Nelly and accepted the honour by spitting a verse on stage that he had written for the occasion.

A newly released T.I. performed live and a surprise performance by DMX backed up by fellow Ruff Ryders member Swizz Beatz as hype man sent the crowd into a frenzy.

The ceremony also saw performances by Wale, El Debarge, Wiz Khalifa and Rick Ross.
